On our way to Rome, we'll visit Montenegro and Croatia, the beautiful eastern coast of Sicily, and my favorite - the fabulous Amalfi Coast.
Today, we're winging our way to beautiful Venice - the start of our journey. But everyone will agree: flying these days is just not what it used to be. If you're of a certain age, you can remember when flying was an elegant, luxurious experience - a pleasure.

Check out this wonderful video of a flight to London on a Pan Am Jet Clipper (Boeing 707.) We especially liked the line in the narration: "The travail has been taken out of travel."
